Acme United Corporation Announces New Titanium Coating Patent

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 14, 2012-- Acme United Corporation (NYSE Market: ACU) today announced that it has been awarded a new titanium coating patent.

The patent is US 8,245,407B2 issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It covers a broad range of titanium coating compositions and thicknesses which enhance the wear resistance and hardness of cutting edges. International patent applications have been filed.
