Acme United Corporation Announces New Titanium Coating Patent
The patent is US 8,245,407B2 issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It covers a broad range of titanium coating compositions and thicknesses which enhance the wear resistance and hardness of cutting edges. International patent applications have been filed.
Mr. Johnsen added that the Company intends to utilize the next generation titanium technology on its high volume scissors, pencil sharpeners, paper trimmers, and knives on a global basis.
